mrJunction launched in 2008 with our trademarked gLobaLocaL(™) model for conducting telephone surveys in native languages locally - worldwide.

That was the precursor to our identifying what is now called crowd-sourcing as a business model that works very effectively around harnessing the power of 'crowds' for explicit tasks.

In 2010 we parlayed purely traditional data collection business to a partner firm and in 2011 we further streamlined our businesses under:

  • mrClub©: all crowdsourcing services like surveys, list verification, translation, press releases, list building, etc.

  • mrPlatform©: enabling custom mobile apps - on low monthly subscription plans - for market research, corporate services, retail locations, education, and non-profits.

  • mrTray©: market research services and business models - beyond traditional surveys.

  • mrBazaar©: deals for consumers abound - we bring similar models to the B2B world; buy/sell products/services from/to firms.

And, yes, the "mr" in mrJunction was born from market research, and although our offerings now go far beyond exclusively market research, we think the 'mr' has a cool ring to it ;)!

Some markers we've achieved since launching in 2008 - with kind support from clients, partners, and colleagues:

  • 2009: first crowd sourced global phone survey model in the MR world - trademarked gLobaLocaL(™) CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing)

  • 2010: first under $10/- VoIP phone service enabling phone surveys at ever lower costs

  • 2011: first subscription based custom mobile apps for the MR world - and far beyond

  • 2012: custom B2B apps on Apple's Business App Store (i.e. different from the public App Store available via iTunes)
